With some recent movies rapidly rising to the top of the worldwide box office charts, we had to double check which ones are currently at the top again. See if you can guess them from these questions:

The current #3 all time grossing movie (worldwide) had such a long theatrical run that the studio had to send out replacement reels to theaters that had literally worn out their copies. The person who wrote and directed this movie also wrote and directed #1. Name the movie and the writer/director.
