CinemaShop Anti-Boredom Campaign:
Scary Halloween Movies
As part of our anti-boredom campaign and in conjunction with Halloween on the horizon, we've listed some of our favorite scary movies of all time. What's your favorite?
Beetlejuice - One of Michael Keeton's best performances as a wacked out spirit. Great supporting cast includes Alec BaldwinGeena Davis, Winona Ryder and Catherine O'Hara

Young Frankenstein - The best comedy/horror film of all time, conceived by Gene Wilder and directed by Mel Brooks. A stellar supporting cast makes this a great treat.

Hellraiser - After seeing this film, we've avoided watching other horror films, as this one's just so incredibly bizarre. Clive Barker set a horror genre standard that's tough to beat.

Frankenstein - The original and one of the greatest horror movies ever. Boris Karloff absolutely electrifies (figuratively and literally!) as the Monster.

Bride of Frankenstein - One of the few instances where a sequel is as good and possibly better than the original. Karloff is again great as the monster, with Elsa Lanchester fabulous as his bride - plus one of the most lush musical scores of all time.

Halloween - John Carpenter's classic made a star of Jamie Lee Curtis and brought Donald Pleasance back into the spotlight, plus sparked sales of hockey goalie masks in the process.

Hocus Pocus - This 1993 horror flick with Bette MidlerSarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy has remained strong over the years and even has recently had a comeback in theaters and streaming video.

Carrie - Brian De Palma directed this Stephen King classic with Sissy Spacek's breakout role and lots of blood, blood and more blood!
