Subwoofer Wiring and Installation Tips

Keep subwoofers in the front, if possible and as close to the equipment as possible without the vibration affecting other components. If you have the crossover on the sub "dialed up" at all, you can easily locate the position of the sub. While bass is somewhat non-directional, it is always best to subwoofers in front of you. Corner subwoofer placement increases the apparent bass output, but can be overly "boomy". If you need a lot of apparent bass (not necessarily the deepest bass), try placing your sub in a corner. If you are on a tight budget and can't afford a huge sub, or have a big room - this will increase your perceived bass.
